We designed our indoor kennel with your pet in mind. Comfort, cleanliness, and safety are our primary objectives. Our suites are roomy -- not only in width and depth but each suite is comprised of two adjoining rooms. The outdoor sun deck and excercise run provide plenty of open space to romp and play. A separate Cat Wing is furnished with large two-room suites including perches -- optional window views available. Your pet's comfort and security are our primary concern. If your pet has a favorite bed or toy, feel free to bring it.

Charges

All charges are based on calendar days. You are charged for the day the pet is checked in and the day it is checked out.

Dogs - Standard Accommodations

up to 50 lbs. - $21.00 / day
over 50 lbs. - $23.00 / day

Cats - Standard Accommodation

$18.00 / day
Window Suites - $20.00 / day

Boarding Discounts for Multiple Pets

If sharing the same accommodations, first pet regular fees; additional pets 20% off. When not sharing the same accommodations, first pet regular fees, additional pets $1 off per day.

Vaccinations

For your pet's safety, and for the safety of our other guests, proof of vaccination administered by a veterinarian is required on entry. (Owner / breeder administered vaccines are not acceptable.) If proof is not presented, required vaccines will be given at owner's expense. It is not the responsibility of Canyon Hills Animal Clinic, Inc., to verify vaccines given elsewhere. We require:

Dogs

• DHP-Parvo-Corona vaccine or antibody titer within the last 12 months.
• If under 4 months, at least two DHP-Parvo-Corona vaccines.
• Bordetella within 12 months.
• Rabies within 36 months if over one year; within 12 months if between 4-12 months old.
• Giardia vaccine within 12 months.

Cats

• FVRCP (Feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, calcivirus, and pneumonitis)/Titer within 12 months. If under 4 months, at least two FVRCP vaccines.
• Feline Bordetella vaccine within 12 months.

If possible, it is best to have your pet vaccinated at least two weeks prior to its stay.

Grooming

Send your pet home refreshed with a professional grooming by our staff of experienced groomers.

Extra Services

• Special Diets: Pets are fed premium diets such as Hill's Science Diet or Eukanuba. There is a $2.00 charge per feeding of an owner-provided diet.
• Medication: ($1.00 per oral administration, $3.00 per injection and $8.00 per subcutaneous fluids administration.)
• Additional playtime: All pets are exercised three times daily. Additional playtime is $4.00 per fifteen minute period.

Flea Policy

Any pet checking in with fleas or flea dirt will receive a flea treatment at the owner's expense. Any pet needing a bath during its stay will be bathed at the discretion of the kennel and the owner will be charged.
