CT Scans

A CT Scan is an incredibly detailed X-ray that allows veterinarians to look inside your pet’s body - including bones, muscles, organs - all without surgery.

Instead of taking just one flat X-ray, a CT Scan captures thin slices of images, layer by layer, and combines them into a complete 3D picture. This allows veterinarians to examine organs, bones, and tissues in incredible detail—helping them find hidden problems that a regular X-ray might miss.

Ct Scans are used to diagnose problems that aren’t easy to see with a traditional X-ray - such as internal bleeding or tumors, bone fractures, brain conditions like epilepsy or tumors, or lung and chest issues.

The pet is usually given a mild sedative or anesthesia to keep them calm and perfectly still during the scan. Hundreds of images are taken from different angles in just a few minutes.
